Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Cardiac Monitor Technician located in Apple Valley, CA. In this position, you will be responsible for monitoring patients’ cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment, documenting any abnormalities, and notifying the appropriate healthcare professionals as necessary. Additional duties include accurately recording patient data, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with medical protocols. Collaboration with the healthcare team and effective communication with patients and colleagues will be essential aspects of this role.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Cardiac Monitoring, Cardiology, and Telemetry practices
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams
Knowledge of Medical Terminology relevant to cardiology and telemetry
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and maintain attention to detail
Previous experience in a healthcare setting and familiarity with hospital procedures is preferred
Completion of a Cardiac Monitor Technician training program or related certification is strongly recommended
