Job Summary
Athenix Special Missions is seeking a Mid Special Security Technician to support ACC Wing SCI security programs at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. The candidate must already possess a TS/SCI clearance and will perform full range of security duties, including SCI personnel, physical and information security, SCIF oversight, and security program administration. Duties
Maintain SCI directives, regulations, manuals and guidelines. Ensure SCI is properly accounted for, controlled, transmitted, transported, packaged and safeguarded. Investigate SCI security infractions and prepare required reports. Conduct SCI personnel, information, physical and technical security (TEMPEST/TSCM actions). Provide security awareness training as required by regulations. Perform all aspects of the SCI Personnel Security Program including nomination interviews, validation of SCI access requirements, submission of investigative requests and conduct SCI security briefings. Serve as official channel for certifying and receiving SCI visitor clearances/accesses. Maintain JPAS and process SCI position and eligibility requests. Assist in overall physical security of SCI facilities (SCIFs) to ensure compliance with ICD 705 and other applicable standards. Requirements
At least 6 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to security disciplines. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. institution or equivalent experience. Experience in personnel, physical, information, and basic information assurance disciplines. Strong analytical, evaluative, and decision‑making skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work independently with minimal oversight. Knowledge of ICD 704, ICD 705, and relevant DoD directives. Desired Qualifications
Formal SSO certification training and SCIF physical security course within the last five years. Extensive knowledge of security principles, risk evaluation, and mitigation preparation.
