Production Assembler 1st Shift
Join a leading global full-service automotive supplier renowned for its complex metal, plastic, and hybrid structures in body‑in‑white, crash management systems, chassis applications, and cross‑car beams. This plant supplies essential parts to brands such as Chevrolet, GMC, and Cadillac.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate assembly equipment as assigned.
Perform die change and set‑up duties.
Load and unload parts in and out of welders, dies, trunnions, and/or assembly fixtures.
Operate equipment that welds, stamps, presses, crimps, stakes, and/or rivets together parts and/or sub-assemblies.
Perform manual assembly, welding, and tapping operations as required.
Ensure quality and quantities of parts produced to meet required quality specifications and production rates.
Perform light, routine maintenance on assigned equipment.
Complete all necessary paperwork associated with the job, including start‑up checklists, pre‑shift inspection sheets, labor tickets, scrap records, downtime tracking sheets, quality assurance checks, and product identification tags.
Essential Skills
Experience in manufacturing or warehouse settings.
Ability to work at a very fast pace.
Capability to perform medium lifting up to 50 lbs and stand/move throughout the day.
Requirement to have steel‑toed footwear.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Preferred but not required: Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or construction environments.
Preferred but not required: Familiarity with hand and power tools.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $15.45 – $15.45/hr.
