Essential Functions
Provide support for production and inventory reporting in MES.
Preparation of materials for use in SCF and Rubber Parts process, ensuring accurate documentation of required data.
Material handling of raw and finished goods for Case Pack operation.
Operates efficiently in the related SCF or Rubber Parts processes.
Ensures compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures and best practices, and all local, state, federal and BD safety regulations, policies and procedures.
Regular, punctual attendance is an essential job function.
Ability to read and write and converse in English.
Willing and able to uphold BD Values.
Primary Responsibilities
Responsible for the MES transactional process for SCF or Rubber Parts.
Monitor MES / SAP inventory for discrepancies.
Support resolution of MES / SAP discrepancies.
Use approved methods of obtaining materials, ensuring that correct materials are supplied.
Move finished goods to the warehouse.
Oversee nonconforming material issues to ensure appropriate removal from manufacturing area and execution of appropriate transactions.
Support knowledge of production reporting guidelines with MES users.
Participate in periodic inventory verifications.
Cross training on one or more operations within SCF (Windows, SCF, Casepack) or Rubber Parts (Stoppers, Casepack, Baders, Sortimats) to support MES transactions and production needs.
Other duties as required to support the needs of the business.
Deliverables
Raw and finished material transactions with proper documentation of required data to guide logistics, quality, production and finance systems.
Compliance to production reporting guidelines with MES users.
Proper documentation and packaging of finished goods.
Qualifications And Requirements Minimum Education
H.S, Diploma/GED
Minimum Experience
2 years manufacturing experience required in lieu of HS Diploma/GED
2 years related manufacturing experience.
SCF, Rubber Parts or Case Pack process knowledge preferred.
MES & SAP experience preferred
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Or Abilities (KSA’s)
Organizational skills
Communication skills Problem Solving & Trouble Shooting skills
Time management skills
Detail oriented
Physical Capacity Profile
Lifting up to 35 pounds and sitting or standing for periods of time up to four hours in duration.
