Join our dynamic team in Charlotte, NC, as a Shipping Clerk! We are looking for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for working in a warehouse. If you have experience in manufacturing and possess strong communication and math skills, we want to hear from you! This is a Monday-Friday 6-2:30pm hourly position.
Shipping Clerk Responsibilities:
Manages the shipment of all products, materials, and supplies.
Collaborates and communicates with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment of products.
Tracks, traces, and updates the status of outgoing shipments.
Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area.
Provides additional backup support for shipping and receiving departments.
Shipping and Logistics:
Scheduling and coordinating shipments with carriers.
Tracking shipments and providing updates to customers.
Handling any issues or problems that arise during the shipping process.
Record Keeping and Reporting:
Maintaining accurate records of all shipments, both incoming and outgoing.
Preparing reports on shipping activities and inventory levels.
Qualifications:
Must have 3+ years of experience
High School diploma or GED required.
Experience in packaging and shipping within a manufacturing environment.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficient in shop math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
Above basic computer skills. Knowledge of excel, word, google sheets, and Netsuite
Ability to meet physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
