We are currently seeking to add a Maintenance Prep team member to support and assist our maintenance team. Maintenance staff are responsible for overall property maintenance and related mechanical, electrical, plumbing and other operational/functional systems.

Requirements Vacant apartment prep

Perform, with good workmanship, all assigned maintenance projects in a timely manner

Perform plumbing, electrical, painting, concrete, masonry, minor extermination and carpentry work

Repair, replace or install signage, glass, tile, carpet, cove base, fixtures, venetian blinds, locks, doorknobs and hinges etc.

Inspections Turn Inventory control

Perform, with good workmanship, all assigned maintenance projects in a timely manner

Janitorial

Assist in janitorial work by performing necessary "on-the-spot" corrections and reporting deficiencies in janitorial services

Other duties as assigned Required Skills/Abilities

Mechanical aptitude with a minimum of one (1) year maintenance trade experience.

Formal training in one or more of the following trades: carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall installation or air conditioning.

Be available to report to work during any inclement weather event for property clean up and emergencies.

Education and Experience

High School diploma or equivalent.

Physical Functions Bending, kneeling, stretching, walking, climbing stairs and ladders, squatting, lifting up to sixty (60) pounds, running and lifting over sixty (60) pounds occasionally.
