Position Summary The Dispatcher - Field Services is responsible for coordinating all logistics related to Field Services, including our client Field Technicians, company materials, and third‑party delivery providers. This role plays a critical part in ensuring productivity, quality, safety, and efficiency across field operations. This is a full‑time, in‑office position based in Midland, TX.
Key Responsibilities
Assign and schedule jobs to balance customer satisfaction, completion deadlines, job costs, and safety requirements.
Communicate directly with customers and our client account representatives to ensure accurate and timely information exchange.
Ensure established safety policies and procedures are consistently followed to maintain the highest level of safe working conditions.
Ensure all work performed by our client meets or exceeds customer expectations, both in the field and on location.
Collect, review, and submit all required documentation in a timely and accurate manner, including field tickets, JSAs, invoicing, and other operational documents.
Maintain consistent communication with supervisors and management to support efficient field operations and personnel management.
Communicate with customers as needed to resolve job‑related issues.
Build and maintain positive, productive relationships with internal departments and personnel.
Operate ethically and in compliance with all company policies, procedures, and standards.
Continuously identify opportunities to improve operational processes, worker safety, efficiency, productivity, cost control, and profitability.
Perform additional duties and assignments as directed.
Qualifications & Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience in a Dispatch or Logistics role within the Oil & Gas service industry.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
Experience with GPS tracking systems (e.g., Samsara) required.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask and manage competing deadlines.
Excellent data entry skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Strong analytical and decision‑making skills.
Professional phone etiquette and strong customer service skills.
Reliable transportation required.
Dependable with the ability to provide sufficient notice for scheduling conflicts.
Valid Class C Driver's License required.
Ability to pass a pre‑employment background check and drug screen.
Physical Demands This position is primarily sedentary; however, occasional moderate physical activity is required, including standing, walking, reaching, carrying, pulling, or lifting objects up to 50 pounds. Employees must have the ability to perform close and distance vision tasks, peripheral vision, depth perception, color vision, and focus adjustment. The role also requires frequent verbal communication and active listening.
Work Environment This role operates in a professional office, field, and shop environment. Noise levels are moderate, and work areas are well‑lit. The position routinely uses standard office equipment, including computers, phones, printers, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
Schedule Night Shift Only:
Monday - Friday: 9:00 PM - 5:00 AM (onsite)
On‑call every 3rd weekend (remote)
