Base pay range $20.00/hr - $22.00/hr
Employment Type: Contract Location: Tualatin, OR 97062 Duration: 12+ months with possible extension or conversion Pay range: $19.50/hr - $20/hr Summary We are seeking a diligent and safety-oriented Warehouse Distribution Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient handling, storage, and distribution of materials within our warehouse and distribution center. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proficient with material handling equipment, and committed to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, examine, stock, and distribute merchandise, products, and materials.
Move materials to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and manufacturing lines.
Identify, label, and record the location of materials to maintain accurate inventory.
Perform and report cycle counts.
Oversee the crating and auditing of outbound materials.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move freight.
Arrange for non-standard crating, rigging, and trucking through proper channels.
Prepare finished products for shipment by pulling, packing, and loading them.
Complete material transactions in the warehouse management system (SAP).
Create non-conformance reports and close tasks in internal manufacturing applications as required.
Safety Protocol
Complete all required safety training and adhere to safe work practices.
Follow personal and product safety guidelines, including:
Utilizing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Following clean room procedures.
Adhering to Lockout Tagout (LOTO) policies and procedures.
Using fixtures (lift hoists, gantry cranes) to aid in assembly.
Lift no more than 35 pounds and use ergonomic aids.
Perform regular safety inspections, documenting, correcting, and/or escalating safety issues.
Respond to and escape unsafe practices to management immediately.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience in operating material handling equipment (MHE).
MHE certified; Forklift certification highly preferred.
Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Strong organizational, time management, and data entry skills.
Ability to analyze information and deal with complexity in a deadline-oriented environment.
Proven commitment to safety management and inventory control.
Experience with inventory control systems; SAP experience is a plus.
