Typical Day As an independent technician, you install the latest technology in customers’ homes and businesses, working under a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and overtime.
Responsibilities
Install, test, and activate high‑speed broadband, Wi‑Fi, and voice services.
Carefully identify wire and cable colors.
Maintain a clean, safe work environment while working in small spaces or aloft up to 28 ft.
Respond to emergencies, outage calls, and holiday work.
Work within weight limits: lift to 60 lb, stay under 325 lb for ladder safety.
Qualifications
Valid state driver’s license.
High School Diploma or GED.
Physical ability to lift up to 60 lb and meet weight requirements.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overtime.
Ready to pass pre‑employment assessments.
Strong communication skills and customer focus.
Location Pontiac, Michigan
Hours & Type 40 weekly hours; Regular full‑time.
