Job Description The Service Associate II / Material Handler will be responsible for stocking products, loading totes for shipping, and order selection that ultimately gets in the hands of our customers. The Material Handler will be responsible for receiving, maintaining and shipping product.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Pack inventory and prepare for shipment. This may include loading pallets, banding the package, shrink-wrapping, etc.
Utilize an RF Scanner on a daily basis to complete orders.
Verify inventory accuracy.
The ability to operate a shipping manifest system.
Transport product via the use of forklifts.
Compare packing slips and shipping documents to inventory.
Work in a timely manner to meet production standards established for various finished goods.
Support operations by moving materials and inventory throughout the facility.
Construct packaging boxes and pick merchandise.
Verify orders, label products and utilize a handheld scanner.
Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
Document all exceptions such as shortages, damages, and overages.
Prepare material for outbound, duties include measuring, weighting, labeling, marking material.
Prepare documents to transfer shipments to its assigned carrier.
Monitoring and controlling resources. (i.e., drivers).
Choosing the best solution for the project on hand.
Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not required.
Available to work a flexible schedule.
Thrive in a busy, fast‑paced warehouse environment
Ability to work closely with others in a team environment.
Basic computer skills.
Must be able to perform preventative maintenance and safety checks on forklift.
Must be able to pick orders independently with accuracy and efficiency.
Must pack orders accurately and efficiently.
Must be able to effectively communicate to carriers, CSR’s and management.
Familiar with PC based computer systems and RF systems.
Must be able to use various forklift attachments safely and efficiently.
Must learn and be able to efficiently operate all FedEx/UPS equipment.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a continuous basis for an extended period.
Perform all functions normally assigned to Material Handlers.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Assist the supervisor in locating inventory, as necessary and assist with inventory.
Assist with location audit and maintenance.
Must be willing and able to cross‑train and perform all task within the EPP operation.
Compensation & Benefits Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The starting pay rate for this position is $20.30 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate’s work experience.

Pay Range The base pay for this position ranges from $20.30/hr to $33.00/hr. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate’s work experience. Hired applicants are offered annual short‑term and/or long‑term incentive compensation programs, subject to applicable eligibility requirements. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
