Job Description The Catering Sales Coordinator assists in the daily operations of events and meeting spaces to ensure overall client satisfaction. This individual reports to the Director of Catering and Conference Services and manages all administrative duties assigned by the Catering Department.
Responsibilities
Respond to telephone inquiries by determining client needs and specs for referral to Catering Sales Managers.
Ensure all filing systems are maintained according to SOP.
Maintain inventory of office supplies.
Establish rapport with Catering clients and function as liaison.
Turn over definite Catering contracts, distribute to other departments, and complete or distribute Banquet Event Orders and Group Resumes as needed.
Assist Catering Managers during execution of Catering Events.
Handle special projects as assigned by Director of Catering/Catering Managers.
Qualifications
Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Highly organized and detail‑oriented.
Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Previous hotel, catering, and Delphi experience preferred.
