Position: Employment Coordinator – Supports veterans in preparing, securing, and maintaining employment. Collaborates with service coordinators, builds employer relationships, and provides resume assistance, interview coaching, and training resources.
Essential Job Functions
Assess Veterans’ employment goals, skills, and barriers; provide individualized career coaching, vocational guidance, resume development, and interview preparation.
Coach participants in effective job-search strategies, workplace readiness, career planning; connect to training programs, certifications, and virtual resources.
Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with employers, job training providers, and partners to identify pathways and facilitate hiring.
Work with service teams and vocational programs to integrate services, monitor progress, ensure placement and retention.
Facilitate workshops, participate in job fairs and outreach events; promote opportunities and program visibility.
Maintain accurate documentation, monitor outcomes, prepare reports on placements, retention, and performance.
