Responsibilities
Rotate through various production positions (Grinding, Processing, Packing, Cook Room, Smokehouse, Shipping).
Operate production equipment and maintain safe operating procedures.
Adhere to quality and safety standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Meet standards within two weeks of hire and sustain performance.
Work up to 40 hours weekly with possible overtime of up to two hours daily.
Qualifications
High School education or GED preferred.
Excellent teamwork skills.
Willingness to move between all jobs via rotation.
Basic computer knowledge and willingness to learn new applications.
Good record‑keeping skills.
Previous food industry experience preferred.
Ability to read, write, analyze, and interpret procedure sheets, labels, and training materials.

Production Positions
Grinding Material Handler – prepares products for processing.
Stuffer – sets correct sausage length and inspects for defects.
Hanger – inspects defects and moves product from stuffing line to trees/rolling racks.
Cook Room Material Handler – cooks products and oversees quality.
Smokehouse Operator – dyes and smokes products.
Packer – places product into plastic pockets, inspects for defects.
Stacker – labels and stacks products on pallet.
Takedown – inspects for defects, verifies for packaging.
Shipping Material Handler – loads/unloads trucks, fulfills customer orders.
Hours
1st Shift – Grinding: 6:15 am – 3:30 pm, $13.00
1st Shift – Processing (Hanger or Stuffer): 7:15 am – 3:30 pm, $12.50
1st Shift – Smokehouse: 6:00 am – 3:30 pm, $14.00
1st Shift – Packing (Takedown or Packer): 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, $12.50
1st Shift – Cook Room: 6:30 am – 4:00 pm, $13.00
1st Shift – Shipping: 6:30 am – 4:00 pm, $14.00
2nd Shift – Processing (Hanger or Stuffer): 4:00 pm – 12:30 am
2nd Shift – Packing (Takedown or Packer): 4:00 pm – 12:30 am
2nd Shift (Salary): $13.50
Working Conditions
Work in a cold environment (45°F / 4°C) on concrete floors.
Exposure to moderate noise levels.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, climb, balance, and reach with arms.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
