Operator Telecom Drill Bores
Star Construction LLC is hiring an Operator Telecom Drill Bores to operate drill equipment to install underground telecommunications cables and infrastructure.
What You’ll Do
Determine bore path and locate utilities
Safely operate and control equipment to complete tasks
Verify existing utilities by potholing to determine bore path
Utilize “Mud” mixing systems
Develop and maintain a bore schedule
Responsible for site set-up, clean-up, and equipment maintenance
Perform work in all weather conditions
Other duties as assigned
What You’ll Need
18 years of age or older
Authorization to work in the United States
High School Diploma, GED, or relevant experience
Valid state driver's license (non-provisional) with acceptable record
Valid Class A Commercial driver's license with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it
Experience with drilling equipment, setup, design processes
Physical Abilities & Exposures
Routine: work with arms above shoulder, confined spaces, operate heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, lift >55 lbs
Occasional: use ladder, keyboard, mouse
