Job Details As a Customer Service Representative (Bank Teller), you are the bank’s critical first touchpoint for customers. CSRs are responsible for processing large sums of money and multiple transactions per hour, while promoting additional bank services through referrals. The ideal candidate is calm, confident, outgoing, numerically inclined, highly organized, and meticulous.
Responsibilities
Provide the highest level of service to every customer.
Maintain a cash drawer, taking in and giving out cash and balancing daily.
Accurately and efficiently process transactions.
Receive loan, safe‑deposit box, and credit card payments.
Process cash services.
Redeem U.S. Savings Bonds.
Identify customer needs through qualifying questions and refer appropriate products and digital options.
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
Cash handling experience.
Customer service experience.
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, with working knowledge of Word and Excel.
Ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
Team‑oriented and able to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
Service‑oriented, polite, and respectful.
Advanced problem‑solving and analytical skills.
Independent thinker who follows direction and instructions until project completion.
Hours Some extended business hours.
