Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Technician to join our team at our Reinbeck, Iowa location! This position will have additional field responsibilities that will support the Triangle growing area.
What You Will Do
Support the agronomy team across various projects, tasks, and data collection throughout the growing season
Manage and assist in field related processes to ensure high quality work and timeliness
Work as a Production technician when needed
Perform Warehouse (forklift operations, collecting of samples, pooling), Harvest (preparation, drying, stabilization) and Packing (lab work, palletizing, and rework) activities
Assist Technicians in multiple field, production, warehouse, and logistical areas to ensure production goals are accomplished
Support the oversight of receiving, conditioning, packaging, harvest, return, bagging and warehousing operations to maximize material flow and process efficiencies
Mentor and coach new and existing team members while fostering harmonious communications with internal and external customers
Set up and monitor highly automated equipment for various processes (harvest, conditioning, treating, and packaging)
Lead safety programs, trainings, and monitor product quality, to ensure activities meet the requirements of Quality Plans and compliance
Ensure operator preventative maintenance tasks are completed timely
Complete and maintain records, documents, reports, and other data as required
Ensure cleanliness in the workplace, and operator maintenance tasks are completed in a timely manner
Various other duties as assigned
Education You have your High School Diploma or equivalent.
What Skills You Need
You have three (3) years of education and/or experience in operations, manufacturing, agriculture, or related industry
You are willing and able to do the following with or without reasonable accommodation: Work outdoors and indoors in hot, cold, wet, and dry conditions, climb and/or work in elevated areas, stand and sit for extended periods, lift up to fifty (50) lbs., and perform work that involves repetitive motion and lifting
You are comfortable with technology and possess good computer aptitude including the use of Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), and are willing and able to learn other company specific applications as required
You have high attention to detail and can multitask, maintain an organized workplace and have excellent problem‑solving skills
You have good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
You can maintain a valid US Driver’s License
You demonstrate integrity and promote a positive working environment by being a self‑starter and willing to assist team members on a consistent basis
You uphold health and safety to the highest standard! You consistently help others and demonstrate adherence to safety protocols, policies, and procedures to ensure you and your colleagues go home safely every day
You understand that delivering to our customers on time keeps us viable and are willing and able to work a rotating shift and overtime hours, which can include nights and weekends during seasonal peaks to support production demand
What Makes You Stand Out
Two‑Year Technical or Associate’s Degree in Agriculture, Operations, Manufacturing, or related field
General knowledge and/or experience with field and agriculture equipment (plows, tractor, feeder, etc.)
Knowledge or experience with LEAN Manufacturing principles such as 5S, Continuous Improvement and Standardized Work
Work Authorization and Relocation

This position does NOT offer a comprehensive domestic relocation package.
