Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service
Assist customers throughout the entire shift
Clean, fill and rotate the cheese and deli displays
Maintain cleanliness of the Bulk Deli department
Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 60 lbs, standing, walking, and kneeling as required
Coordinate with Bulk Deli Manager or Assistant Bulk Deli Manager for replenishment during morning shift
Follow all safety and sanitation standards, including completion of Food Handler Card or equivalent certification
Qualifications
Read and write Spanish and English; interact with general public and coworkers
Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, memos
Write simple correspondence
Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees
Apply common sense to carry out detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions
Ability to regularly lift up to 25 lbs, frequently lift up to 45 lbs, and occasionally lift up to 60 lbs
Basic PC/Outlook skills (extra)
