Tower Foreman (MODS)
Join MasTec Communications Group as a Tower Foreman (MODS) and help us build the future. In this role you will develop new skills, work in a safety‑minded environment, and expand technology to serve our customers and communities.
Responsibilities
Lead the daily site construction work to meet production goals.
Implement and enforce MasTec Communications Group Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and Industry standards (OSHA, TIA10-48, NATE CTS, ANSI).
Maintain safety requirements on site and with crew.
Oversee daily operations and quality of work at assigned sites.
Maintain and file required daily paperwork.
Follow job instructions from leadership and compile site‑specific closeout documentation.
Upload closeout documentation to customer interfaces.
Coordinate with customer representatives and maintain a good working relationship.
Provide leadership, guidance, and active training to all crew members.
Maintain equipment and vehicles in operational condition.
Validate daily timesheets for management.
Mentor newer technicians.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Travel 100% of the time.
Qualifications

Long‑term project orientation.
Willingness to work outdoors with your team.
High school diploma or GED.
Minimum 5 years industry experience.
Expertise in construction, rigging, safety, and general industry knowledge.
Knowledge of safety standards and regulations.
WSA certification is a plus.
Job‑related certifications (First Aid, Safety, Rescue, Wiltron, Anritsu, Fiber, PIM, CPR, Connector attachment) are advantageous.
Strong organizational, computer, and communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret site plans, RFDS, construction drawings, and SOW.
Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
Ability to maintain FDOT log books (training provided).
Ability to lead, teach, and enforce proper work and safety procedures.
Capability to maintain a safe work site with acceptable quality and efficiency.
Proficiency in paperwork management (Excel, Word, etc.).
Good physical condition, able to climb towers, lift 50 lbs., and work up to 12 hours.
Compensation Salary range: $30k – $35k DOE.
