Position Parts Driver
Base Pay Range $17.00/yr - $19.00/yr
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Deliver and pick up parts as requested by Parts Manager.
Load truck to eliminate damage to sheet metal and other fragile parts.
Organize delivery schedule to maximize efficiency and publish schedule for contact.
Verify that invoice matches purchase order for each pick-up.
Keep truck clean and neat; regularly check vehicle to maintain good running condition.
Maintain parts truck including filling tank with gas, checking oil, keeping it clean, and ensuring required inspections are performed.
Report any malfunctions of parts vehicle to Parts Manager immediately.
Assist in keeping parts department and parts area clean.
Make pick up and deliveries safely and call the shipping department from each pick-up and delivery stop.
Pick up only parts that have a purchase order on the invoice.
Update delivery log after each delivery.
Work with Parts Manager to identify potential clients and complete sales calls as determined by the Parts Manager.
Maintain professional personal appearance.
Complete required training assigned through the company training portal.
Adhere to consistent and reliable work schedule.
Demonstrate ethical business practices and integrity in all interactions to uphold the Mac Haik Automotive group brand.
Effectively perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or the equivalent.
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
Successful completion of pre-employment screening.
Authorization to work in the USA.
