Summary We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for a direct‑hire position offering full benefits, a 4‑day workweek, and no on‑call schedule. This role is essential to minimizing downtime and ensuring a safe, productive work environment.
Compensation Starting at $24.74/hour (based on experience) + 2.00 shift premium = $26.74/hour
Schedule 2nd Shift, Monday–Thursday 3:00 pm–1:30 am
Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery, equipment, and building systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments.
Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
Conduct routine inspections and recommend solutions for potential issues.
Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and parts usage.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
Collaborate with technicians and other departments to complete projects efficiently.
Keep tools and equipment organized and in good working condition.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred.
2+ years of maintenance or related technical experience.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, and general building maintenance.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
