Job Description As a Purchasing Assistant, you are responsible for a variety of administrative and clerical tasks that facilitate the effective operation of the purchasing department.
Responsibilities
Accurate data entry and maintenance of products and purchase orders
Maintain supplier notes and information, both with digital and analog records
Run and distribute reports
Execute internal processes and programs on a routine schedule
Review files and other documents to obtain and collate information to respond to requests
Perform general administrative tasks as necessary
Provide support as needed to buyers/purchasing team
Communicate with supplier, employees, or other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information, and address issues
Provide general support for senior leadership
Perform other duties as assigned by the management team
Physical Requirements & Environment This position operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
Compensation
Base wage: $18.00
