Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented 2nd shift
Antenna Assembly Technician
to join our team in a high-precision aerospace, defense, and manufacturing environment. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling flat plate array antennas following drawings, technical process sheets, and strict quality standards. You will apply braze paste to designated joints and prepare assemblies for the aluminum dip braze process by delivering them to the salt pot/braze room.
Responsibilities
Assemble flat plate array antennas in accordance with approved drawings, manufacturing process sheets, and work instructions.
Apply braze paste to precise joint locations using approved materials and application methods.
Inspect components for proper fit, cleanliness, and alignment prior to brazing.
Prepare completed assemblies for aluminum dip braze processing and transport them to the salt pot room.
Collaborate with brazing personnel to ensure smooth workflow and proper handling of assemblies.
Complete required documentation, including traveler signoffs, material traceability, and quality records.
Qualifications
At least 1 year of experience in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing environments.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and process documentation.
Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
Familiarity with precision assembly practices, including surface prep and alignment.
Ability to follow strict quality and cleanliness requirements.
High School (High school diploma) or GED
Additional Information
This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain a U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.
Pay Range: $18.61 - $20.00 hourly plus a 10% 2nd shift differential. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
