Job Details Position: 4 Welders J4 Location: Norfolk, Virginia Hours: 0600 to 1445 with a 45 min lunch Shift: ALL Security Clearance: No Clearance
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Knowledge of welding on different types of base metals (HY-80 & HY-100).
Knowledge of different wire and gas combinations.
Proficiency in using SMAW, GMAW and FCAW welding processes.
Quality of weld acceptable for N.D.T. and ability to weld steel, aluminum, copper, nickel, and stainless steel.
Ability to read weld gauges.
Ability to use hand tools.
Some guidance from supervision will be needed.
Must know standard Item 1689 and the 5S guidelines.
