Role Profile
Position: Production Technician
Job Location: West Valley, UT
Job Type: Full-Time
Status: Non-Exempt
Summary of the Role This position is responsible for a variety of tasks that are manufacturing or distribution based and may include assembling and manufacturing sales orders, picking product from the warehouse, and shipping and receiving.
Responsibilities
Maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures.
Assemble products to company, customer and manufacturer's standards.
Perform all product testing to quality standards as required by the customer and per company work instruction.
Receive incoming shipments into inventory, post in online system and place items in warehouse.
Pick product in warehouse and prepare items for delivery or shipping.
Operate mechanical equipment, hand tools, forklifts and picking lifts (if applicable).
Assist with physical inventory.
Make recommendations to management with respect to product and process improvements.
Perform other related duties as required.
Skills and Abilities
Ability to interact with team members in a professional manner.
Good communication skills.
Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in units of measure.
Basic mechanical skills including the use of hand tools.
Basic computer skills preferred, including email and internet.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older.
1–3 years of related warehousing or production experience.
A high school diploma or GED.
Reliable transportation is a must.
Ability to work overtime, as required.
Ability to work nights and weekends, as required.
Ability to pull, push, grasp, bend, lift and carry up to 50 lbs independently on a repeated basis.
Ability to consistently move throughout the facility during the full workday.
Ability to comprehend work instruction and safety procedures, written or verbally.
Ability to count and measure accurately.
Ability to properly and safely use mechanical equipment and hand tools.
Background checks and drug screening may be required.

Industrial setting experience.
