Base Pay Range $16.00/hr - $18.00/hr
Manufacturing Operators perform manufacturing processes in RFID inlay/tag, embeddable RFID tag production, testing, and manufacturing support. Employees will master a specific area and become cross‑trained in additional areas as needed to meet production schedule demands.
Minimum / Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma / GED
Ability to follow detailed instructions & adhere to ESD, cleanroom gowning/safety protocols
Prior manufacturing or machining experience preferred
Computer literate and basic math skills
Able to utilize inspection equipment such as microscopes
Able to utilize small tools and measurement devices
Able to comprehend and communicate documentation utilized in the manufacturing process.
Participate in overtime requests as business needs require.
Essential Job Functions
Operate in a safe manner and utilize all required PPE.
Manual and Equipment processing of components
Inspection while assuring products meet specifications
RFID Assembly: Operation, set‑up, and monitoring of automated roll‑to‑roll manufacturing line
RFID Tags: Operation, set‑up, and monitoring of equipment e.g., spring assembly, measuring, auto‑tester, seed preparation & testing equipment
Conduct testing to assure RF performance
Finished Good packaging: Operation, set‑up, and performance of packaging needs such as prepping finished goods for packing, boxing, labeling, and core cutting and prep.
Rework: Operation, set‑up, monitoring and documentation of rework materials.
Performance and characterization testing of microelectronic parts
Operation of reel‑to‑reel equipment including setups & changeovers
Minor troubleshooting of equipment
Perform accurate material transactions including documentation, labeling, and ERP inputs.
Accurately complete process and quality documentation records.
Support continual improvement projects.
Participate in daily shift changeover group meetings
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Prior manufacturing, machining, and/or cleanroom experience preferred
Microsoft Office products and ERP systems
Ability to understand and uphold Safety, ESD, Clean room gowning, QMS and ISO protocols
Physical Abilities
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to use microscopes
