Facility General Maintenance Worker - Tulsa/Muskogee Federal Court Buildings

Schedule: Part-Time (20 hours per week) Business Hours
Salary: $22.07 per hour
General Maintenance Worker (GMW) is not on-call and does not require after-hours emergency response.
What You’ll Do
Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general building systems
Conduct inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns
Assist Maintenance Mechanics, HVAC Technicians, and senior staff with repairs and installations
Maintain building interiors and exteriors, including basic grounds upkeep
Safely operate tools and equipment and follow all OSHA and company safety standards
Escort vendors and contractors when required
Complete work orders and report maintenance issues promptly
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed
Basic knowledge of building maintenance and use of hand/power tools
Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious
Preferred (Not Required)
Prior experience in facilities maintenance, custodial support, or trade-related work
State or trade certifications (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.) — encouraged but not required
Work Schedule & Conditions
20 hours per week (part-time) Business hours
Daytime scheduled hours only — no on-call or after-hours work
Physical role: standing, walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and working indoors/outdoors
Must be able to pass a thorough company and foreign government background check for clearance.
