ABOUT THE ROLE The Sr. Scheduler will prepare, monitor, and update fully loaded schedules for varying size and complexity projects across the organization by providing services across all MYR T&D companies as needed. The Sr. Scheduler is expected to coordinate the collection of relevant schedule data, and project progress, and work with Project Managers to ensure that project objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time parameters. The Sr. Scheduler will also provide scheduling training across the organization as needed. Travel will be necessary to conduct the duties of the Sr. Scheduler.

Transmission and Distribution (T&D)

division offers a comprehensive range of electrical services including transmission, distribution, substation and clean energy construction. We are experienced in delivering reliable, high‑quality infrastructure solutions to meet the growing demands of the power and utility industry.

Essential Functions

Support project teams by preparing, monitoring, and updating resource and cost‑loaded construction schedules in Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project

Develop full Critical Path Method (CPM) logic‑generated baseline schedules for projects

Deliver analysis, status reporting

Prepare schedule reports as required including critical path view, baseline vs actual view, look ahead views, and milestone views

Prepare summary and detail‑level schedules

Participate in all schedule reviews as required at Operations Review

Conduct schedule and Work‑in‑Progress (WIP) reviews

Provide support and training in the use of project and scheduling software to office and job site staff

Design training programs on schedule management tools and methodologies

Review lower tier subcontractor schedule submittals (RFP, Baseline, Updates) and advise on any concerns

Evaluate schedule performance and provide recovery strategies when delays or risks are identified

Implement a minimum standard of use in scheduling guidelines

Identify opportunities and take action to build collaborative relationships within the organization while focusing on achieving business goals

Analyze situations by gathering and organizing information, assessing cause and effect relationships, and recommending potential solutions

Regular and predictable attendance

ABOUT YOU Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience scheduling construction projects in the electrical industry utilizing Primavera P6

Experience in transmission and distribution

Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, related field required; a combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Must be willing and able to travel 25-50%

Excellent knowledge of construction and relevant industry practices and project controls

Comprehensive knowledge and experience n resource loading scheduling

Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6, project management software, enterprise level ERP systems and data analysis tools

Analytical thinking skills

Ability to identify and seek needed information

Proficiency in MS Office applications

WHAT WE OFFER Compensation & Benefits

Salary $75,000 - 125,000 / year

Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
