We are in search of a California-based full-time trademark paralegal. This position can be fully remote, fully in-person in our Santa Monica office, or a hybrid of the two. However, the candidate must be based in California. We are only considering candidates with at least 5 years of experience managing global trademark portfolios, either at a law firm or in-house legal department. Minx Law, PC is a Santa Monica-based intellectual property law firm. We are in search of an exceptional, highly experienced Trademark Paralegal to work in close collaboration with our team. The ideal candidate will have expert‑level knowledge of US and foreign trademark prosecution, and will be very comfortable communicating with foreign counsel. There is an annual billable requirement of 1,440 hours. Responsibilities
Ownership of a busy trademark docket (50% US; 50% foreign)
Prepare and submit trademark and copyright filings in the US and overseas
Conduct preliminary USPTO and Internet searches
Communicate with clients and foreign trademark counsel
Draft letters and pleadings
Prepare and submit filings with the USPTO, WIPO, and US Copyright Office
Manage and instruct foreign trademark counsel
Review and analyze watch notices
Prepare takedown notices
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience managing global trademark portfolios
Expert level knowledge of USPTO filings
Expert level knowledge of trademark docketing (experience with AltLegal is a plus)
Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Office
Must be extremely organized and detail‑oriented
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Compensation $85,000-$95,000 per year
