Summary / Objective The Field Technician Supervisor will lead multiple crews in performing vacuum and hydro blasting services to safely and effectively complete hydro blasting and vacuuming jobs at industrial facilities. The role requires strength and flexibility for handling equipment, emergency response, vacuum truck operations, waste disposal, site remediation and high‑pressure water blasting.
Responsibilities
Supervise, coach, and develop staff members; assist in training new employees to meet company and client policy.
Supervise staff performance and attendance.
Ensure all equipment functions properly and enforce OSHA safety guidelines, policy, and procedures.
Maintain specific knowledge of Hydro Blast Pumps (10K, 20K, 40K) and Liquid Vacuum and Air Machine Trucks.
Load out hydro blast and vacuum truck jobs and verify equipment for safe, effective job scope.
Inspect equipment and work site prior to commencement.
Complete Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and all applicable safety paperwork.
Communicate updates with clients.
Assist in general maintenance and cleaning of company equipment.
Maintain general housekeeping (sweeping, trash removal, organization).
Help with future or previous job load outs/unloads and return equipment and PPE to designated areas.
Complete timesheets and all admin paperwork by required deadlines.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
2–4 years of related experience; 1–2 years of supervisory experience.
TWIC card and valid driver’s license.
Previous work experience at industrial owner facilities.
Strong communication skills, both internally and externally.
Experience in hydro blasting and vacuuming field.
Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time and work at industrial owner facilities.
Ability to perform manual labor associated with service lines.
On‑call 24/7, flexible – willingness to work off‑shifts and weekends.
Ability to work shifts up to 12–16 hours, day or night, indoors and outdoors in sun; staying on your feet is required.
Physical Requirements
Physically capable of performing all duties and responsibilities assigned.
Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
Physically capable of standing and/or walking continuously for long periods if necessary.
Physically capable of climbing, balancing, bending, stooping, and kneeling continuously.
