Utility Representative
Ben E. Keith Company, a leader in fine food and premium beverage distribution since 1906, is seeking a Utility Representative to support its Beverage Division in Texas, providing service and maintenance of draught line equipment for on‑premise accounts.
Responsibilities
Establish and maintain healthy business relationships with customers.
Maintain, clean, and troubleshoot draught lines serving Ben E. Keith products.
Use approved eye and hand-ware protection (PPE) while cleaning lines.
Apply approved caustic line cleaning solution, allow to soak 5–20 minutes, then flush with cool water.
Understand basics of draught beer and install/troubleshoot draught systems.
Communicate opportunities or challenges to sales staff.
Project a, image at all times.
Prioritize multiple competing priorities and attend required meetings.
Ensure company equipment is safe and report incidents immediately.
Maintain assigned company vehicle and clean up after each line cleaning call.
Assist with special event activity in assigned territory.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Work Experience Requirements
High school graduate or GED.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and coordinate multiple activities.
Good oral and written communication skills and teamwork.
Highly motivated, results oriented, and detail oriented.
Organized and able to handle multiple priorities.
Basic trade math proficiency.
Read and understand draught and package code dates.
Read and write English.
21 years or older.
Valid Texas driver’s license with clean driving record.
Physical Requirements
Perform essential job functions safely and successfully.
Maintain regular, punctual attendance.
Move products up to 165 lbs, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk and hear.
