Lead Retail Customer Service Associate – FedEx Office

Overview The Lead Retail Customer Service Associate provides a positive customer experience by taking orders, coordinating store activities, and providing product and shipping information. The role requires strong consultative selling skills, leadership support for teammates, and advanced operation of Print and Shipping equipment.

Responsibilities

Consultatively take customer orders, provide pricing information, and recommend FedEx Office products and services.

Manage production flow, ensuring all print, sign, graphics, and shipping orders are completed accurately and on time.

Operate advanced equipment for digital imaging, full‑service printing, and large job management.

Run POS, handle financial transactions, and manage cash and bank deposits.

Coordinate pick‑up and delivery of customer orders and maintain inventory of shipping supplies.

Provide leadership guidance to store team members on assigned shifts and assist in training new hires.

Follow FedEx Office standard operating procedures and safety, HR, and security policies.

Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and team members in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent education.

2+ years of specialized experience in retail or customer service.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Physical ability to stand entire shift and lift 55 pounds.

Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain attention over extended periods.

Essential Functions

Stand during the entire shift (excluding meal breaks).

Regularly bend/twist at waist and knees, and communicate effectively with customers and teammates.

Report to work consistently, maintaining established business hours for FedEx Office.

Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of quality initiatives and experience applying quality concepts in daily activities are preferred.
