Cold Mill Shift Supervisor

Position Summary Nucor Steel West Virginia LLC is seeking a Cold Mill Shift Supervisor in Apple Grove, WV. This role is part of the Cold Mill leadership team responsible for safety, profitability, and team development, leading continuous improvements and coordinating with other departments. The Shift Supervisor will work weekends, holidays, rotating shifts, scheduled and unscheduled overtime.

Salary $150,000.00 - $170,000.00 (Compensation Range varies based on experience and is a full compensation package including a variable incentive.)

Basic Job Functions The Shift Supervisor will lead the Cold Mill efforts to become the world's safest steel company, promote a culture of ownership, engagement, and teamwork, coordinate with other departments for consistency and long‑term success, and implement and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications

4 year degree or 5 years of steel experience

2 years manufacturing experience

2 years leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience on Pickle Lines/Tandem Cold Mills/Reversing Mills/Temper Mills, Annealing and/or Roll Shop

Sheet mill experience

Prior construction/project experience
