Overview:
Audacy Atlanta is looking for ambitious, energetic, outgoing, and proactive individuals who have excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced work environment. The Promotions Assistant will help plan and execute on‑site activations at local venues and other events. Candidates must be a “people person” with a flexible schedule, be available nights and weekends, capable of lifting and carrying equipment, and able to drive an SUV. Strong computer skills, including basic knowledge of Canva and general social networking platforms, are required.
Responsibilities:
Execute on‑site promotional events and coordinate/manage clients and listeners on‑site.
Set up, break down, and transport promotional event equipment as required.
Set up and run audio and other types of equipment during events.
Hang banners and other staging elements at events.
Record events (photos, videos, audio) for social media and event recap.
Fulfill winner release forms and other waivers when needed.
Maintain promotional equipment and vehicles in a clean and neat manner.
Check email daily, attend mandatory meetings on time, and work weekends, holidays, and blackout dates as directed.
Be available to work Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and may need to work with little notice.
Perform other marketing/promotional duties as assigned by the Promotions Director.
Qualifications:
Positive attitude and willingness to be a team player.
Ability to drive company vehicles to and from events.
Ability to lift and/or carry equipment.
Professional appearance and punctuality.
Reliable and dependable mode of transportation.
High School Diploma or GED.
Must be 18 or older.
Preferred: Experience using Google Workspace, knowledge of promotions software (Vibes, Aptivada, SPARC), experience working with the general public, and a valid driver’s license with satisfactory motor vehicle record and proof of insurance if using own vehicle.
