Description SHINE Technologies is seeking a Material Handler who will be responsible for receiving, stocking, transferring, and pulling items to support company production activities. The ideal candidate will be able to accurately process inventory into our warehouse control system, label, locate, and stock received items into their proper location, and perform both weekly location checks and regular cycle counts.
The base salary range for this position is $19.00 - $23.50 per hour plus a comprehensive compensation package. Salary ranges depend on role, level, and location.
Duties and Responsibilities
Facility shipping, receiving, stocking and associated administrative tasks
Completion of warehouse transactions using inventory control software application
Pick materials to support production
Perform weekly cycle counts and location checks as needed
Maintain high volume and quality of work in a fast-paced environment
Ensure proper documentation is completed to meet quality systems requirements
Participate in facility safety programs
Demonstrate accuracy with an error rate lower than 2% of transactions
Interact with staff to help locate stock items
Equipment and material movement utilizing a forklift, pallet jack, etc.
Assist with incoming inspection and release of materials and products
Document inspection results and communicate failures to quality/engineering
Perform various housekeeping activities such as keeping work areas and equipment clean
Basic shipping packaging and labeling of product for shipment
Work on problems of moderate scope, exercising judgment within defined procedures and policies in selecting methods and techniques to obtain solutions and determine appropriate action
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years receiving experience in a warehouse setting preferred
Ability to stand entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs
Valid driver’s license
Ability to work accurately and independently
Basic math and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Time management and organizational skills
Ability to multitask
Proven team player with experience successfully interfacing with various departments
Ability to interact professionally both internally and externally
Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems preferred, specifically NetSuite
Experience driving forklift preferred
Experience working in a high-tech manufacturing environment preferred
Experience with incoming inspection preferred
Experience using UPS/FEDEX software/systems preferred
Experience creating BOLs and packing slips for less than truck load and/or truck load shipments preferred
