Job Context NXTPoint Logistics supports Johnson & Johnson Vision Care facilities. In this role you will be an employee of NXTPoint working on‑site at the Johnson & Johnson facility.

Day Shift – 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Daily verifies the hopper to ensure all orders are completed timely.
Interacts with other distribution operators to direct activities as required to meet desired process outcomes.
Monitors, tracks and reports on assigned processes to management and distribution operators.
Completes all required documentation for pallet shipments.
Communicates any shortages or missing shipments to warehouse pickers and PPS.
Collects UPS, FEDEX and other customer orders from the CHUTES area once the shipment pallet is complete.
Operates basic manual or powered material handling equipment.
Performs labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as needed; keeps appropriate records and reports.
Assists in physical inventories; ensures proper stock rotation.
Ensures customers’ special requests are carried out and investigates discrepancies.
Coordinates as necessary with all other departments/functions.
Maintains a clean, neat and orderly work area.
Helps cover absent team members’ routines to maintain steady staffing.
Maintains training on departmental procedures, policies, GMPs, and follows safety/security & environment guidelines.
Completes special projects, duties, or assignments appropriately.
Maintains warehouse and support areas in an outstanding housekeeping state.
May require material handling equipment certification.
Must be dependable and punctual in attendance.
Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Education & Experience High school or G.E.D. degree; minimum three years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Activity Level Employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted, use hands, arms, fingers, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, twist, and stand for extended periods. Must be able to climb ladders and perform repetitive movements with hands and feet.
