Core Responsibilities
Performs various skilled tasks in the repair and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair machines (mechanical and electrical).
Test, maintain, repair and evaluate equipment performance using instruments such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, pyrometers and pressure gauges.
Installs electrical conduit, wiring, switching devices, controls, outlets, fixtures, motors and other equipment, compliant with electrical code.
Checks and repairs pumps, fans, valves and motors.
Adjusts, repairs and replaces electrical and electronic pneumatic relays.
Prepares accurate records for preventive maintenance.
Performs preventive maintenance on equipment as scheduled.
Interacts with associates in scheduling and performing work.
Qualifications
Must have knowledge in motor controls, electronics, blueprint and schematics reading, CNC repair and a mechanical background.
Must be able to communicate with all levels of personnel effectively and be a team player.
Able to use basic math to add, subtract, multiply or divide and may work with fractions, decimals or percentages.
Able to use own resources to assure quality workmanship and assumes responsibility for own work.
Must have a safety background with experience in Lockout/Tagout, Electrical Safety, Crane Safety and Confined Spaces.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs on occasion and lift up to 50 lbs overhead.
Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S.
Education Requirements: AS degree in a technical field (engineering, maintenance) or equivalent experience.
