Job Summary
In 2024, Follett Products, LLC expanded its PA manufacturing capabilities with the addition of Kloppenberg in Denver, CO, now operating as Follett Denver. Follett Denver manufactures superior‑quality ice storage, ice transport, and ice dispensing systems, serving the market with both the Follett and Kloppenberg brands. Duties/Responsibilities
Receives purchased goods, verifies the quality and counts of all items unloaded, and records the quantities. Compares packing lists to company purchase orders and ensures that the products in each delivery match the packing list. Checks against supplier counts and immediately reports discrepancies to carriers, the supervisor, and the Procurement Manager per company policy. Carefully and accurately maintains receiving records for requested categories, including goods returned, dunnage, and returnable pallets. Inspects all purchased goods for damage during the receiving process. Completes all required damage survey documents in coordination with Materials Manager and Procurement Manager, including damage claims for in‑transit damage. Notifies supervisor of damages, major discrepancies, over‑shipments, or substitutions. Puts away received purchased goods in the correct and properly labeled assigned locations in the warehouse. Updates product inventory as products are received and added via the shop ERP system. Practice FIFO. Sets up warehouse locations, maintains them, assigns parts, and keeps accurate records in the ERP system. Transports materials to and from the shipping dock using a hand truck or forklift as needed. Packages products for return to vendors and completes any necessary paperwork. Ensures quantities remain above safety stock levels. Maintains and controls proper labeling and identification of purchased goods in the warehouse area. Pulls parts from the warehouse to the stock production lines during peak demand or when personnel are short. Maintains the warehouse as a controlled area. Maintains a safe, clean, and organized area, including the receiving and warehouse areas. Assists with cycle counting of purchased goods and materials within the manufacturing plant. Assists with year‑end physical inventory process as directed by management. Performs other related duties as assigned. Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds at times. Must wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE). Required Skills/Abilities
Ability to accurately sort, count, and verify items received. Basic understanding of the Company’s ERP system and receiving procedures. Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and/or inventory software to maintain records, input data, and create reports. Good interpersonal skills, can work with various departments and management. Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required. A state motor vehicle operator’s permit for forklift operation is highly preferred. Must obtain and retain the company Forklift certification. Salary
