Position Description As part of the TNC Team, you will make a difference in the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities who live in TNC Community’s beautiful homes across 12 locations in Independence, Kansas City, Lee’s Summit, and Raytown. Responsibilities

Manage TNC Community resources and facilities, including the facility budget and funds for individuals receiving services.

Oversee vehicle maintenance to ensure proper function and safety.

Lead and supervise Lead Personal Support Attendants (Lead PSAs) and Personal Support Attendants (PSA), providing orientation, monitoring documentation, and direct support activities.

Assist the QDDP team with oversight of individuals’ health, safety, quality of life, and functional outcomes.

Advocate for removal of architectural, environmental, attitudinal, and financial barriers to services, promoting community integration and transportation access.

Report all suspected or alleged abuse and neglect in accordance with TNC Community policies and procedures.

Communicate regularly with Lead and Personal Support Attendants; maintain daily communication logs.

Review Daily Documentation Records and Medication Administration Records for accuracy and completeness.

Participate in Individual Support Plan meetings and attend parent/guardian meetings as required.

Plan and oversee community outings, ensuring policy compliance and monthly activity calendars for each home.

Support PSA education and program implementation, observing daily to verify ISP outcomes and documentation.

Maintain adequate staffing levels by scheduling interviews, completing orientation, and tracking training documentation.

Post staff schedules, manage shift coverage, and use overtime as a last resort.

Provide weekend on-call responsibilities (12 pm Friday to 7 am Monday).

Conduct and document mandatory staff meetings and required in‑services.

Direct daily supervision of Leads and PSAs and maintain proper documentation.

Complete and submit personnel documentation regarding PSA performance.

Ensure appropriate staffing ratios are maintained in homes and community.

Review staffing and ensure staff assigned to homes are adequately trained.

Education and Experience Qualifications

Must possess a High School Diploma or GED.

Two years of combined direct service and related management experience preferred (must have at least one year of direct service experience).

Additional Requirements

Ability to clear background checks and drug/alcohol screenings.

Current CPR/First Aid certification.

Maintain current Abuse/Neglect Training.

Completion of Gentle Teaching or Equivalent.

Must participate in all mandatory trainings and re‑certifications as required.

Ability to drive motorized vehicles; Valid Class E Missouri driver’s license or equivalent (may be optional).

Must have own transportation and proof of insurance (may not be required).

Ability to lift 75 pounds (weight may vary).

Flexible schedule.

Be familiar with and able to utilize a computer.
