Office of Juvenile Justice – Acadiana Center for Youth, Bunkie, Louisiana The Louisiana Office of Juvenile Justice (OJJ) is committed to protecting the public by providing safe and effective individualized services to youth, who will become productive, law‑abiding citizens. We are seeking a dependable and detail‑oriented Administrative Coordinator 2 to support daily office operations and assist with administrative tasks essential to the agency’s mission. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, is organized, and enjoys working as part of a team committed to youth rehabilitation and public safety.

One year of experience in administrative services is required. 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university may substitute for six months of the required experience.

Job Duties

Perform clerical duties including filing, data entry, and document preparation.

Answer phones, route calls, and respond to routine inquiries.

Maintain records, logs, and reports in accordance with agency procedures.

Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and coordinating calendars.

Support purchasing, inventory tracking, and supply management.

Handle incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence.

Provide general support to supervisors and program staff.

Position‑Specific Details Work Location

– Acadiana Center for Youth in Bunkie, Louisiana.

Appointment Type

– Part time.

The incumbent must not have been convicted or pled nolo contendere to a crime listed in R.S. 15:587.1 (c).
