Job Title: Returns Product Tester

Division/Department: Fulfillment

Job Overview: The experienced Product Tester is a vital part of the Returns department that will examine and test returned items and miscellaneous product for any defects or issues. They will test functionality of the item, write up their findings, document condition of item, and determine its grading for resale if no issues are noticed. They may work with manufacturers to address defects if/when identified.

Essential Responsibilities:

Test media equipment (ex. Cameras, lenses, computer equipment, tripods, photo accessory bags, security networking, routers, 3D printers, etc) for specific defects or other issues

Determine condition of equipment and assign proper grades for resale

Determine validity of customer defect claims

Communicate findings and process item accordingly

Additional Responsibilities:

As assigned by the manager

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Extensive knowledge of new & used photography equipment, computers, and electronics

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge of B&H product lines

Excellent computer skills

Must be able to lift 50lbs independently

Preferred Education, Experience and Licenses:

Two years of experience operating photography equipment

Previous experience evaluating photography equipment and electronics preferred

Physical Environment/Occupational Risks: N/A

Required Schedule: Monday-Thursday 9am-6pm, Friday 9am-2pm
