Responsibilities Howmet Fastening Systems (HFS) is seeking a Maintenance Tech V in our City of Industry, California location. HFS is a business unit of Howmet Aerospace, headquartered in Torrance, California. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

Good communication skills & know basic shop math

Ability to work in fast paced environment

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, policies and procedure in English

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence as required

Able to lift/move up to 30 pounds regularly

Able to follow and carry out instructions

Ability to perform LOTO

Ability to operate Mobile Equipment

Knowledge of basic shop tools

Able to do gauging and measuring

Knowledge of basic machine mechanics

Basic computer skills (e.g. Outlook, Work Order Database)

Able to assist with basic tasks assigned by lead, supervisor, or more senior maintenance tech with basic electrical and/or mechanical work orders

Must be Mobile Equipment Operator Certified

Able to use Express Maintenance Proficiently

Able to do moderate PLC troubleshooting

Advanced knowledge and demonstration of troubleshooting maintenance work orders related to mechanical repairs

Advanced troubleshooting skills for all shop floor machinery

Advanced level fabrication/sheet metal work

Advanced knowledge of advanced machine mechanics, and pneumatics

Thorough knowledge of HVAC and electrical troubleshooting and repairs

Electrical or HVAC training certificate required

Must have ability to understand basic Microsoft Office programs

Able to use express maintenance

Minimum of 10+ Years of Maintenance Experience

Benefits/Salary The position includes competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance (medical, dental, vision), excellent 401k matching program, paid holidays and vacation. The salary range for this position is $36/hr to $42/hr
