Description Test finished products for acid, salt, pH and sulfites. Perform metal detection and look for fill weights, drained weights, defects, abnormal colors or flavors. Ensure coding is correct on packaging and cases, perform audits, and problem‑solve all issues related to product quality.
Quality Assurance/Control paperwork. Comply with GMPs, safety and quality standards, food safety measures, OSHA and other safety regulations.
Skills & Qualifications
Degree in the Sciences (Biology, Environmental Science, Agriculture, Food Science, Biochemistry, etc)
Strong attention to detail
Ability to uphold quality standards and hold manufacturing accountable
Previous Food Manufacturing or HACCP/Food Safety experience is a plus
1+ years of experience in Quality
1+ year of GMP and FDA/USDA experience
Skills: quality, haccp, usda, associates, degree, sqf, brc, fda, biology, environmental science, agriculture, quality control, quality assurance.
Experience Level Intermediate Level
Job Type & Location Permanent position based out of New London, WI.
Pay & Benefits The pay range for this position is $41,600.00 - $52,000.00 per year. 401(k) and two weeks vacation accrued & 2 hours accrued sick time per month. Medical, dental, vision; company-paid life insurance; short‑term and long‑term disability.
Workplace Type Fully onsite position in New London, WI.
