LIVunLtd is looking for a Service Technician and/or Service Apprentice to join our team.
At LIVunLtd, Service Technicians are leaders in the fitness industry and part of a skilled team of individuals who are in control of their advancement through our technician career path and other career opportunities throughout the company. As a Service Technician, you are responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining fitness equipment while delivering world‑class customer service and being a professional representative of LIVunLtd. Successful candidates must be able to manage a schedule full of jobs for a variety of demanding customers. You are the face of LIVunLtd; we need the best.
We also hire for our technician apprentice program in all of our service areas. We encourage all mechanically inclined individuals with or without experience in the service and repair industry to apply. Paid training is provided.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Primary Responsibilities
Travel to client locations
Inspect, calibrate, clean, and test fitness equipment during Service Contract visits
Evaluate equipment for repair; prepare parts list and labor estimates for a repair quote to be provided to customers
Complete repairs with parts ordered; test that machine is back in full working order
Provide communication to customers regarding scheduling and equipment status
Seek additional revenue opportunities from service/warranty work and preventive maintenance contracts on additional machines
Identify opportunities for incremental revenue through new equipment and/or fitness accessories
Additional Responsibilities
Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle at all times
Maintain proper inventory levels and count accuracy at all times
Complete vehicle maintenance needs as directed by the fleet operations manager
Adhere to the Company Uniform Policy
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to lift/move fitness equipment & parts up to 50 lbs
Valid driver’s license and insurance; clear MVR check
Proficiency with computers, Microsoft OS, iPad, Wi‑Fi, e‑mail, and cellular technology
COMPENSATION The Service Technician position with LIVunLtd pays based on experience and location of service. All of our Service Technicians are also eligible for a competitive performance‑based bonus program. More detailed information on our bonus incentive program is shared as part of the interview process.
