$26/hr. on W2 Key Responsibilities
Register inpatient and outpatient clients by accurately collecting and entering demographic and financial information. Greet patients, families, and visitors with professionalism, empathy, and calm under pressure. Verify patient identity using government‑issued photo identification. Obtain insurance details, pre‑authorizations, and required patient signatures. Prepare, process, and route patient charts, labels, ID bands, and registration documents. Create and apply patient identification bands and labels accurately. Review all entered data for accuracy and completeness. Coordinate transfers, bed swaps, and system updates as applicable. Communicate with physician offices to secure authorization numbers when required. Ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations, including Advance Directives for Healthcare Decisions. Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 1 year of experience in medical office administration and/or data entry. Strong attention to detail with high data‑accuracy standards. Ability to multitask in a dynamic, patient‑facing environment.
