Job Details We are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join our insurance defense team in a hybrid role (1 day remote, 4 days in‑office). This position provides critical support to attorneys throughout the litigation process, with a strong emphasis on organization, communication, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and thrives in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Provide administrative and clerical support to attorneys

Draft, format, and proofread legal documents including pleadings, discovery, and correspondence

Maintain and organize physical and electronic case files

Manage deadlines, calendar events, and coordinate meetings

Communicate with clients, experts, court staff, and opposing counsel

Assist with trial preparation and case management as needed

Qualifications

2+ years of experience supporting litigation attorneys, ideally in insurance defense

Familiarity with court procedures, e‑filling, and legal terminology

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document management systems

Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
