Welder/Fabricator – ENTEK International – Henderson, NV
Job Type: Full‑time
ENTEK is seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to build quality metal components for our clients. The role is on‑site at our Henderson, NV location; relocation within 40 miles of Henderson is required.
Responsibilities • Read and interpret engineering blueprints. • Fabricate metal components or structures using TiG and MiG welding techniques. • Weld steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and perform tube and pipe welding (MS). • Build simple and complex fabrications such as tanks, frames, and hoppers from sheet metal and plate. • Perform quality checks on finished products, ensuring they meet specifications.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
3‑5 years of experience as a Welder/Fabricator.
Proficiency with MIG, TIG, and flux‑core welding.
Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints.
Strong knowledge of fabricating and constructing metal components to produce clean, strong welds.
Initiative to perform quality checks on completed products and inspect welded structures for flaws.
Experience using hand and power tools, calipers, and load‑moving equipment (pallet jack, crane, forklift, etc.).
Knowledge of propane and pressurized gas cylinder handling.
Strong time‑management and self‑management skills.
Effective written and spoken English communication skills.
Pass a pre‑employment fit‑for‑duty screen and drug screen.
Preferred Qualifications
Trade school program certificate.
Basic computer skills.
Working Environment • Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. • Work is performed in a manufacturing shop environment involving high heat, mechanical equipment, water use, and metal‑working processes. • Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds, frequent kneeling and stooping, and wearing eye and hearing protection such as a welding helmet or hood. • Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, high temperatures, and bright lights may occur.
