Job Summary: To provide quality case management and psychotherapeutic services to adolescent and/or adult psychiatric patient population and their families, spouse, significant other; to serve as a member of an interdisciplinary team supporting the organization’s treatment program and philosophy and assure the delivery of quality treatment to psychiatric patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with NARC, Admissions, the Business Office, Physicians, and Nursing staff.
Conduct psychosocial assessments to document history and identify preliminary issues for treatment focus by interviewing the patient and their family members.
Provide group and family process‑oriented therapies as well as conduct educational and other didactic groups for patients and family members using various professional treatment modalities.
Formulate and note an initial discharge plan on psychosocial assessment within 72 hours of admission.
Attend regular treatment team meetings to provide a social work perspective to total case management of the patient by reviewing progress notes from charts and communicating any state or local agency legal requirement for case management with the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications Master’s degree in Social Work or an equivalent master’s degree in a recognized mental health field.
Strongly preferred: one year of experience.
LMSW, LISW in South Carolina preferred.
