Our client is currently seeking a Industrial Maintenance Electrical Technician
Job Title:

Contract-to-Hire

2nd or 3rd Shift
Overview Join our team as an
Industrial Maintenance Electrical Technician
and play a key role in maintaining and troubleshooting electrical and automation systems in a fast-paced industrial environment. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with competitive pay and growth potential.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair electrical systems quickly and accurately.
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot AC/DC motors, drives, VFDs, and soft starters.
Perform wiring and conduit installation (EMT, rigid, flexible).
Read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams.
Build and maintain control panels (layout, wiring, testing).
Troubleshoot PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Omron) and replace modules.
Navigate HMI panels for diagnostics and alarms.
Maintain sensors, actuators, and industrial networking (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus).
Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance using thermal imaging and vibration monitoring.
Apply Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring issues.
Follow all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
Qualifications
3 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
Strong knowledge of NEC, OSHA, and facility-specific electrical codes.
Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, and industrial networking.
Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot control systems.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and time management skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience in manufacturing or heavy industrial environments.
Knowledge of RCM methodology and predictive maintenance tools.
