Residential Carpenter

Urban Building Group is a Charlotte, NC based Design/Build Firm. We are looking for an Experienced Residential Carpenter to join our team. The Residential Carpenter's primary role is to contribute to the construction process by building products to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Project Set-Up:

Ensure site protection is installed (zip walls, floor protection, etc).

Install and maintain clean job sign

Operational Excellence:

Maintain clean, safe, and secure job sites at all times

Completion of projects in a timely manner

Meeting the highest quality standards

Assist in budget control of materials purchased

Troubleshoot and resolve problems efficiently

Carpentry skills in remodeling, framing, interior (crown molding) and & exterior trim, cabinetry, windows & doors, etc.

Administrative Duties:

Complete all paperwork necessary for employer

Maintain email communications

Basic computer skills

Required Skills and Talents:

Must have minimum 5 years experience

Advanced carpentry skills

Excellant communication and organizational skills

Neat and clean appearance (in UBG apparel)

Vision for craftsmanship

Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and plans

Necessary tools of the trade

Personal truck for work use

Valid driver's license & clean driving record

Leadership qualities
