About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Finance Technology to lead the evolution of its finance technology platform. This senior role is pivotal in driving the strategy, architecture, and modernization of mission-critical finance capabilities, including ERP accounting/GL, FP&A, and integrations with firm-wide systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for both the change and run aspects of the platform, ensuring its reliability, controls, and service excellence. Key responsibilities include leading the platform vision and roadmap, establishing architecture principles, and owning platform governance. The role also involves transformational delivery, modernizing ERP/GL and FP&A/EPM, and leading data and analytics for finance. The Head of Finance Technology will be a trusted advisor to the finance leadership, shaping demand, and securing executive sponsorship.

Candidates for this role at the company should have deep finance technology expertise in asset management or capital markets, with a background as a former software engineer or architect. A vendor-agnostic mindset and a proven track record in evaluating and integrating solutions across various platforms are essential. The role requires a leader with a strong understanding of data and analytics, AI, and automation in finance contexts, and experience in global leadership, including managing service partners. Executive communication, stakeholder management, and fluency in agile and ITSM are also key qualifications. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or equivalent experience is required, with relevant certifications in agile leadership, cloud, ITIL, or finance systems being a plus.
